Holiday Gift Guide for Travelers
Are you searching for the perfect gift for someone that loves to travel? Don’t worry I have you covered and I’ve got a list of all of the items that I can’t survive without on my trips. Traveling is exhausting but there are definitely ways to improve your flying experience with the following items.
- A good neck Pillow. This will make or break your trip. I personally use the Trtl Neck Pillow. It is less bulky and provides the best positioning for me.
- The next thing you need is reliable luggage. My personal favorite is the Samsonite Underseater. It comes on 4 wheels and is actually the size of a personal item. It fits so many things and I love it for when I’m being cheap and flying certain airlines that charge extra for carry on bags.
- For those of you that prefer using back packs I personally use the Herschel backpack. Its stylish, roomy and even has a slot for your laptop.
- The best thing you didn’t know you needed…. an Eye Mask. I literally don’t know how people sleep on planes without them. I always inevitably end up sitting next to some jerk that leaves the window shade up while they are sleeping. Flying has gotten so much better after using one of these.
- Two years ago I bought these headphones on Amazon Prime Day and it is the best purchase I ever made. Noise Cancelling Headphones will let you sleep through that cranky toddler thats screaming on the top of their lungs.
- You may be one of those lucky people that doesn’t experience ankle swelling on flights but I am not. My ankles look like tree trunks by the end of a long flight if I don’t wear compression socks. Even if your ankles don’t swell I would recommend wearing these to help improve circulation on long flights. Comrad socks have an amazing selection. Use my code MARSTRAVELSEARTH20 for 20% off.
- Once I get out of an airport the first thing I do is throw on sunglasses. My exhausted, dehydrated, make up less face needs a disguise. My favorite pair are the Maho Cape Town Bengal. Use Mars10 for a discount.
- Do you want to know how I keep my things organized when moving from city to city? Packing Cubes! These make a huge difference when it comes to organizing dresses, undergarments, pants, pajamas etc. You don’t have to rummage to the bottom of a suitcase to find that one tank top you need anymore. The packing cubes keep thing organized and help with packing and unpacking. I won’t leave home without them.
I own all of the items above and can personally say I love the all and take them with me on all of my trips. There are still a few things I have my eye on but have not bought yet. Here is my personal holiday wish list in case anyone is interested in sending me presents 😉
Packs Project – I am in love with how stylish and sleek this carry on is.
Passport Holder – I have been looking for the perfect wallet that will fit my passport, credit cards, cash and cell phone and just stumbled across this one today by Everlane.
